Taylor Patterson - Reno, NV Mission

Hey everyone, Happy Memorial Day, I hope everyone is having a great day!! This week was super busy and it was awesome!! Elder Marsh and I worked hard this week calling as many people as possible and it definitely paid off! We ended up having 25 nonmember lessons and it was so fun to be able to share messages with so many people. We found this lady named Judy and she is super nice. She is an older lady and she just wants to find the truth and learn more. We started teaching her on Tuesday and then on Sunday we got her the sacrament and she is so excited for all of our lessons!!  We are also teaching Matthew still and now his dad is interested in learning more which is definitely a miracle. It's been amazing to teach their whole family. Hopefully in a couple weeks Matthew will be able to get baptized!! We had our last interview with our mission president this week and it was super sad because we could only say bye to them over technology because of the virus. But...

Hey everyone!!! This week was transfer week! Elder Marsh and I are staying together another transfer but elder Topham left to go to Carson City! A trio in quarantine was way fun but this transfer is going to be sweet! The boys we are teaching are so excited for baptism still! Brody and Parker have been waiting for almost 2 months because they want all their family there. So now we are just waiting until Nevada lets people get baptized in the church!! Gavin their older brother, he is progressing so much and it's been amazing seeing the change happen in him as he wants to get baptized as well!! We are also teaching this guy named Harold!!! He wants to be baptized so bad and we are hoping June 17th he will be able to!!  This week for our walk time we got to go bike around the UNR campus and someone was training on the football field and let us come get a sweet picture out there which was super cool!! Hey everyone!!!  Happy mothers day to all the amazing mothers out there!! Truly you guys are the greatest because I know without my mom I wouldnt be the man I am today. Love you all!! This week was transfer week but nothing changed except elder Topham is leaving to Carson. Elder Marsh and I are staying together which is sweet! We are still covering the Keystone and Lemmon Valley ward. This week we put Matthew on baptismal date and he said he wants to get baptized on his birthday!!! It was super cool to see him so excited about baptism. We also taught Gavin this week and he has been being taught for many years but he finally said he is willing to get baptized it was super awesome!! We have been making some ties and they are looking pretty good! We also have been walking to downtown and it's such a cool scenery! Also the UNR campus is super sweet! Hey Everyone!! This week was different for sure hahahah. We were serving in the Lemmon Valley Ward but our Mission President wanted to put us in a different area and take missionaries out of Lemmon Valley. So now we are in Keystone!!  Keystone is super cool! We are right next to the University of Nevada, Reno and it's a pretty sweet campus. We bike through it every day and the college vibe is really sweet. We are also right next to a park that has some cool biking and running trails which makes the hour we have outside pretty fun! We are teaching some pretty sweet people. We are teaching this kid named Matthew and he is the best. He is so excited for baptism and loves learning more! Then we have 3 other people that will hopefully get baptized this month 2 of them are on date and they are the best. One of them is paralyzed from the chest down, he was 15 years old and was already getting sponsored for dirt biking by Monster, Oakley, and Walmart. He then wrecked his dirt b...
